Richard Ma is an experienced property developer and project leader with more than a decade of expertise across property development, project management and design. His portfolio exceeds $500 million and includes large-scale residential, mixed-use and commercial developments.

Richard has strong knowledge of New Zealand’s planning, regulatory and building compliance environments, working closely with councils, consultants and stakeholders to guide projects from planning through to completion.

David Xie is an experienced finance professional specialising in commercial property lending, structured finance, private wealth and alternative investment. He has led and supported transactions exceeding $400 million, with expertise in credit analysis, financial modelling, capital structuring and risk management.

As a founding member and former Chief Executive Officer of Onelend, David led the company’s credit strategy, compliance, investor relations and reporting. He previously held roles at ANZ and HSBC across property finance, private wealth and relationship management.

Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, David brings strong commercial judgment and a global perspective to the company’s financial and investment activities.

Eason Sun is an architect and development manager with experience delivering major residential, commercial and mixed-use projects in New Zealand and China. He has completed multiple developments valued at more than $50 million and is currently overseeing a project valued at over $100 million.

Previously, Eason managed the 89,000 m² Wanliu House development in Beijing, which was delivered on time and under budget and achieved LEED Platinum certification. He also contributed to major projects with CapitaLand China, including Vermont Hills, Beaufort and the Tianjin International Trade Centre.

Eason brings strong expertise in design coordination, project delivery, quality control and commercial performance.

Clare Davies is an experienced hospitality and tourism executive, board director and industry advocate with 29 years’ experience across New Zealand and international markets. As Founder and Managing Director of Capstone Hotels & Resorts, she oversees 17 hotels and resorts nationwide, with responsibility for strategy, governance, owner relations, sales and a workforce of more than 600 staff.

Clare also holds several governance and advisory roles across the hospitality and business sectors. Her expertise includes financial oversight, strategic risk management, operational performance, compliance, marketing and organisational leadership.

Recognised for her strong industry networks and commitment to sustainable growth, Clare brings extensive commercial, governance and sector experience to the Investment Committee.

Wayne Keene is a leading hotel, tourism and leisure property specialist with more than 33 years’ experience across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. As National Director of Hotels, Tourism & Leisure at Bayleys Real Estate, he advises private and institutional clients on the sale, acquisition and development of hospitality assets.

His expertise spans hotels, resorts, holiday parks, leasehold interests, management rights and development opportunities. Wayne has managed complex transactions from boutique lodges through to large-scale accommodation assets, providing market appraisal, sales strategy, due diligence coordination, negotiation and deal structuring.

With deep knowledge of tourism markets, operating structures and regulatory requirements, Wayne brings extensive sector insight and transaction expertise to the Investment Committee.
